General

We are a team of accountants, providing accounting services to commercial and personal clients.  We specialise in small to medium size businesses with turnover up to £30m.

We are members of the ICAEW Business Advisory Service (BAS), which means all our initial consultations are free of charge.  We generally do not charge for quick meetings but if you would like to have regular meetings, then we can provide a quote accordingly.

The cost of services will vary based on the size and needs of individual clients.  What we do guarantee is that we will match any genuine quote from a Chartered Accountant firm.  This is because we ensure that our prices remain competitive.

Hiring a trusting and reliable accountant is essential. At the end of the day accountants work to try and save you money! And so, take time to make sure your existing accountant is doing just that. If not, look elsewhere. Dedicate your time to finding an accountant where there are high levels of both communication and trust.

Ultimately most of our clients are through referrals from existing clients and its because our clients trust us. We ensure that we provide you with the quality service you are looking for at a very competitive rates.

After compiling a list of potential options, turn your attention to the skills and qualifications they have. Though your priorities will depend your circumstance, a quality accountancy firm should display that they have;

  • A good reputation – look online for reviews and testimonials
  • Excellent communication skills – if the accountancy firm you approach has not responded at all or has taken a while to get back you, this might display signs that, in the future they could be unreliable or inefficient. Communication is key in a field like accounting!
  • Qualifications – It is essential that any accountant is qualified. It is even more essential that, if the firm is offering something specialised, they show that they are qualified to deliver that specific service.

Also, it is vital that they;

  • Are happy and willing to answer any of your questions
  • Understand you, which will allow you both to develop a successful working relationship
  • Show dedication towards helping you or your business
  • Take the right risks that have potential to pay off in the future
  • Have an effective team dynamic
  • Are reliable and thorough when delivering and completing work
  • A positive attitude!
